So the holidays are over and bye-bye to binge eating. Now what? You are stuck with a bulge and your thighs seems twice as big… time for a new you!
A New Year always calls for a new you and why not start with a fun work schedule.

Before you get started, first determine your readiness, both physically and mentally. Make sure you are ready to start an exercise program that can fit with your working hours.
Perhaps visit your doctor and tell them you wish to start a fitness regimen, that way your doctor will determine if you are healthy enough to start.
Once your doctor gives you thumbs up, it’s time to get sweaty! Also, remember to consider group exercise, if you are slightly self-conscious in the beginning, this will help ease the discomfort and slight embarrassment.
Make sure you also when you will exercise and what type of exercise will you do? We reckon activities such as walking, cycling, running, swimming, dancing, tennis and basketball are always fun. Start with at least 10 minutes per session and slowly build up to at least 30 minutes per workout.
Now that you have found a great workout schedule, time to consider your eating habits. This is a challenge for most. To make this adjustment easy, think of this change as a lifestyle adjustment then just swapping chocolate with rice cakes!
The best way to ease yourself into healthier foods is to have healthy green or fruit smoothies for breakfast.
Lastly be realistic! Sometimes New Year’s resolutions can be impractical. While setting goals is a great idea, try to make them realistic and feasible.
Start slow and from there build up from that foundation as your fitness improves!
